Terry Peet 'Leigh to Leigh' walk
A dad walked 232 miles to raise money for our digital appeal after his daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Terry, 54, pounded the roads from Leigh, Essex to Leigh in Lancashire, where his daughter Gaynor Barnard, 32, lives.  Terry of Wick Drive, Wickford, set off on April 1st 2009 and raised nearly £3,400 in donations and sponsorship which will go towards raising the £250,000 needed for state of the art digital mammography equipment for the charity.

We would like to thank Terry for his magnificent efforts and to all his family, friends and work colleagues at Connaught throughout the UK for their encouragement and wonderful support.

Gaynor has now finished her treatment and is doing well.
