2008 'Be Aware' Sponsored Walk

Nearly 100 men, women, children and dogs! braved the awful weather to take part in our annual sponsored walk on the 5th of October 2008.  Starting and finishing at St Bernards High School, the route took in the seafront, The Royals Shopping Centre, High Street and London Road, a total of approximately 4 miles.

Despite the rain and wind approximately £7,500 was raised towards much needed funds.

A big 'thank you' to everyone involved both participating and behind the scenes for all their hard work to make the event a success.
