Liz Storey – Operations Director
Wendy Sullivan – Unit Manager & Assistant Practitioner in Mammography
Lorraine Skinner – Lead Sister
Fiona, Gaynor, Gail, Maddy and Gemma are the lovely ladies who will answer your calls, make your appointments and welcome you at the Unit. Gail is the lady who arranges our osteoporosis clinics.
Lorraine, Maggi, Lisa are our Clinic Sisters; they have over 50 years of experience in breast clinics between them. At your appointment Sister will examine you, go through how you examine yourself, what you are looking for – she will also answer all your questions. Maggi is the Sister you will meet at our osteoporosis clinics.
Wendy leads our mammogram team at the Unit. Mammographers undergo special training in this field. Please feel free to ask them questions about your mammogram.
Volunteer in the office
Is one of our invaluable volunteers – they help in the Office, at our charity shops and with events and collections. We cannot manage without help from volunteers. If you would like to know more please contact the Unit.
Communications Administrator / Fundraiser
Vikki manages all our events and is the first point of contact with our amazing fundraisers. Any events big or small Vikki is there to give assistance to make sure our fundraisers have everything they need.
The commitment of all our staff and volunteers is amazing and I am very proud of the team we have here and of the service we provide.
So many fundraising events have taken place over the years in aid of the Unit, the initial build, the raising of the second story to accommodate the NHS Breast Unit and in 2007 an appeal to upgrade the x-ray equipment to full field digital. It would be impossible to list all the volunteers, staff and supporters of the past 40 years but I do wholeheartedly thank those who gave of their time and energy to make the Lady McAdden Trust what it is today.
